The Braves win their second game of the season in Miami.

The Atlanta Braves finally win in Miami. The Braves used to win against the Miami Marlins pretty consistently, but as baseball evolves, so have the Miami Marlins. The National League East have 5 teams who have rebuilt their teams, hired new General Managers, and signed top free agents just to stay competitive. All baseball teams are obviously, but the Braves are in the NL East and that’s who I follow.

One of the exciting things about last night’s game was how the Braves battled back. The Braves were down but they hit 3 homeruns last night. Freddie Freeman continued his hot hitting streak and hit his 3rd homerun last night with a solo shot. The man of the hour last night was Ender Inciatre. He hit 2 home runs and made a great diving catch in center field to rob a base hit from the Marlins lineup. Jaime Garcia started the game for the Braves but was not involved in the final outcome. Jim Johnson the Braves closer pitched a light’s out 9th inning to secure the Braves win. Johnson had a blown save opportunity a couple of days ago against the Pittsburgh Pirates. His dominance on the mound last night was a welcomed relief, literally.

The Braves are off tonight before they enjoy a week at SunTrust Park in Atlanta. They will open their new ballpark in Atlanta on Friday night. The San Diego Padres will be the opponent as the Braves are hoping for a great home stand. Matt Kemp was placed on the 10 day Disabled List but he should return to the Braves lineup on Tuesday. Nick Markakis has taken the roll of clean up hitter and has filled that roll extremely well. Kemp presence in the lineup will be a welcomed addition as the Braves manager Brian Snitker shuffles the Braves lineup. It’s still early in the season and it will be exciting to see how well the Braves perform at their new stadium. It will be a loud and exciting time in Atlanta Friday night. Let’s hope last night’s victory will ignite a winning streak for the Braves. GO BRAVES!!!!!
