The Braves complete the sweep against the Diamondbacks and are back to.500 baseball!

The Atlanta Braves completed the sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks late Sunday afternoon. Jamie Garcia was brilliant on the mound and 2nd baseman Brandon Phillips hit 4 doubles as the Braves beat up the wild card leading Diamondbacks. Matt Kemp and Matt Adams both enjoyed hitting the long ball at SunTrust Park as the Braves offense continues to click.

Jamie Garcia looked more like his old self after his previous 4 starts for the Braves. Garcia confused the Diamondbacks bats and struck his way out of potential precarious situations. Sure this is only the 3rd game since the All Star break, but the Braves are 1 of the hottest teams in baseball.

The Braves will be tested in their next series with the World Series champions Chicago Cubs. Julio Teheran will look to keep his winning streak in tact as he pitches in Atlanta tomorrow night. Teheran has not had much success at SunTrust Park and will be looking to turn his luck around. The Braves starting pitching rotation has been dominating lately and has played a key part in the Braves success.

Ender Inciatre and Brandon Phillips are a lethal 1, 2 punch to opposing pitchers. Johan Camargo enjoyed his day off as Braves manager Brian Snitker sat his hot bat for the game. Camargo did come in late in the game to play at 3rd base as Freddie Freeman returned to his normal position at 1st base. With the trade deadline quickly approaching Braves president John Hart and general manager John Coppolella will be looking to improve the team and all offers are on the table. GO BRAVES!!!!!
