The Braves win their final game of the 2017 with a win and enter the off season with many questions to answer.

The Atlanta Braves finally ended their losing streak in Miami with a win over the Marlins. The Braves had dropped 6 games in a row before yesterday’s game. Braves manager decided to start Lucas Sims as his season finale and Sims pitched a good game until an error by Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson lead to the Miami Marlins scoring 4 times in the bottom of the 4th inning. The Braves would rally back late in the game and give the Braves fans something to celebrate in Miami.

The Braves used a lot of their bench players yesterday as they team looks to rest their veteran players. Braves started the season with Adonis Garcia at the 3rd base position before the injury bug kept Garcia on the disabled list but last night he had the opportunity to be a hero for his team. Garcia smashed a 3 run homerun to dead center field into the statue the Marlins have at their stadium. Dansby Swanson would make up for his error on the field with an RBI single late in the game to put the Braves ahead for good. Freddie Freeman got a pair of hits including a triple and double to give his on base percentage over.400 for the season.

The Braves will probably not bring back their manager Brian Snitker for the 2018 season but there are no guarantees. Braves president John Hart and general manager John Coppolella  have an active off season. The Atlanta Braves fans are wanting to enjoy post season play once again and the Braves have a lot of young talent in their farm system. The Braves know that quality starting position is key to a winning season and a run for the playoffs. The Braves have R.A. Dickey under contract for the 2018 season but Dickey will take the off season to decide if he wants to pitch another season in Atlanta. Julio Teheran has been rumored to be traded during the season but he has pitched well at SunTrust Park over his last few starts where he struggled for the first part of the season.

The Braves front office and coaches will answer many questions this off season and it is anyone’s guess who will be playing in Atlanta for the 2018 season. The Braves have seemed to find their 2nd baseman  the future with Ozzie Albies and Dansby Swanson at shortstop should make a great combination up the middle for the Braves. The Braves hot prospect Ronald Acuna will be looking to play in the majors soon but keep in mind Acuna is only 19 years old and rushing players to the major leagues is something that the Braves do not want to do. The Braves already have outfield players under contract including Nick Markakis, Ender Inciatre, and Matt Kemp. Like I previously said the Braves off season will be interesting. GO BRAVES!!!!!
