Listening to the post game, I feel very confident and proud of our Atlanta Braves Manager Brian Snitker. I won’t discuss issues like politics, but the post game interview was all fake news. The Braves started off their home stand an impressive 6-1. Now after being swept by the Colorado Rockies, the home stand is only 6-5. The press was hounding Brian Snitker continually asking him how does it feel to be swept in your home stadium? Snitker just gave a light shrug of his shoulders and told the Braves media exactly what they and all Braves fans should know, it’s time to regroup and get ready for tomorrow night’s game with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Here is a visual for everyone might want to checkout. 6-5 home stand record. That’s a winning percentage I’ll happily take in the heat of divisions races and a final push to see who will win the National League Pendant. If this is the best the Colorado Rockies will play this season, I’d rather them peak right now even if it’s in Atlanta. To break it down even further the last few weeks of the seasons the Braves are playing against the Washington Nationals, New York Mets, and the Philadelphia Phillies. The Braves own these teams or did you already forget? The Colorado Rockies have series with their division rivals the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Just for fun let’s throw the San Francisco Giants in the mix. I want those 4 teams out West playing their most difficult games of the season. The Braves can watch the drama from the East Coast why the West Coast teams beat the Hell out of other. The National League central teams like the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals can also beat the crap out of each other.
Let’s see in 6 weeks how the National League division races are finally won. Will the Braves or Phillies win the NL East? I don’t know. Who will win the National League Central? Can the Cubs or Cardinals come out on top? Oh wait the Milwaukee Brewers might spoil that fight? Who wants to win the rumble in the National League West? The Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies, or the Arizona Diamondbacks? I don’t know that either. Am I a wanna be baseball guru? Absolutely not. The 1 thing I do know is that AlwaysBraves has been around for 2 years and I’ll keep writing Braves articles as long as someone reads them. GO BRAVES!!!
